Chinese cabbage performs best in the gradually decreasing day length and cooler temperatures of late summer but can be grown successfully in the spring if careful attention is paid to prevent bolting. For spring and early summer transplanted crops, be sure to wait until the last frost date to transplant or direct seed the crop. Young plants may bolt to seed prematurely if they are exposed to frost or over a week of sub 50°F (10°C) nights.
Improved Red Dragon type. Full, bulky, and dense heads avg. 11–12″ long. Very attractive dark red. NOTE: More prone to internal tipburn (decay of inner leaves that is not visible in uncut heads), especially in hot weather, than green varieties. Somewhat susceptible to bolting under stressful conditions, such as cold nighttime temperatures (below 50°F) after transplanting.

We sell only viable plants seeds online, and test germination of our seeds from time to time. So we will not be able to refund for seeds that clients fail to germinate, unless we are convinced that it's truly problem of our seeds.
