There’s nothing that draws bees and butterflies to your garden faster than Dark Pink. Producing delicate, open pink flowers with five petals and long prominent antlers, this tap-rooted perennial brings in flying friends from early summer through the fall.
The long-lived beeblossom offers a clumping, upright habit with fine green foliage and tall stems supporting the tiny, white, pink and rose flowers. Flowering can be extended and self-sowing prevented by removing spent flower stalks.
Excellent in containers and as a feature plant or in mixed borders, perennial borders and wildflower gardens, Dark Pink thrives in full sun and average, well-drained soil. Native to Texas and Louisiana, it grows to between 2 and 3 feet high and 1 and 2 feet wide.
